The City Council holds its regular monthly meetings on the first (1st) Tuesday of each month unless a City observed holiday falls on that particular Tuesday. If this occurs, the meeting is scheduled for another day during that month. The rescheduled meeting date as well as any other special sessions will be posted on the City's web site on this page and the Events page and as soon as it is determined.

Unless otherwise noted, all City Council meetings are held in the Council Chamber Room inside City Hall located at 129 East Market Street at 7:00pm.

As required by State law, an agenda for each meeting is conveniently posted for the public to view at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to the meeting. The City's official posting site for the City Council agendas is on the front glass of City Hall located at 129 East Market Stree. Current agendas and past agendas can be obtained from the City Secretary at the City Hall.

For those citizens that have special needs to attend the meeting please call the City Secretary in advance at 903.887.3241. We will try to accommodate your needs.

Persons who would like to speak to the Council will need to complete a form located at the city hall one week prior of the set meeting date.
